Things I'm Lovin' Tuesday: Catty Wagon

In 2015 I started a monthly blog series called
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!
Come back every last Tuesday of the month for a new post.

Now onto what I'm lovin' this month...

Towards the end of Summer my boyfriend and I went to Melrose Trading Post.
I was there mainly to look, possibly buy some chairs (that didn't happen),
but as soon as we pulled in I spotted the best thing at the flea market that day -
Catty Wagon - a mobile cat adoption truck with super cute kittens!!!

I didn't adopt any kittens that day,
but that didn't stop us from playing with them.
I mean look how cute they are - we couldn't resist!
And the employees were happy to let us get our kitten cuddles.

One of them did want to go home with me though...

He climbed in there himself and was so content!

If you're LA local and looking to adopt, make sure to check out Catty Wagon!

Things I'm Lovin' Tuesday: Farmer's Markets!

This is a non-sponsored review and I purchase my own Farmer's Market goodies.

Last year I started a monthly blog series called
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!
Past post can be found:
herehereherehereherehereherehereherehereherehere and here!!
And make sure to check back every last Tuesday of the month!

Now onto what I'm lovin' this month...

I've been going to farmer's markets for years.
There's a great little one just a few miles from my house on Sundays.
But I was recently introduced to two other amazing ones in Los Angeles.

I had heard good things about the Calabasas Farmer's Market
and just a few Saturdays ago I finally went for the first time.
While it was bigger than the farmer's market in Encino,
parking was a little more of a hassle unless you wanted to pay.

My boyfriend took me to the Brentwood Farmer's Market recently
and it was by the best farmer's market I've ever been to!
It was huge and the quality of the goods were amazing.
And parking is surprisingly pretty easy for the area on a Sunday.

What are your favorite goodies to buy at the farmer's market?

And if you're Los Angeles local - what's your favorite farmer's market in the area?

Things I'm Lovin' Tuesday: Carbolite FroYo

This is a non-sponsored review and I purchased my own froyo.

Last year I started a monthly blog series called
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!
Past post can be found:
hereherehereherehereherehereherehereherehere and here!
And make sure to check back every last Tuesday of the month!

Now onto what I'm lovin' this month...

I've always been a fan of frozen yogurt.
I mean really, what's not to love?
My boyfriend introduced me to carbolite this summer
and I was in heaven from the very first bite!
It tastes like regular froyo, but with a fraction of the calories!!!

Below is a sampling of some of the carblolite we've enjoyed recently.

They have many flavors and I've tried a bunch over the last few months.
If you can find some near you, you should give it a try.
I haven't been disappointed yet!

Things I'm Lovin' Tuesday: Patagonia Capilene® Lightweight Crew

This is a non-sponsored review and I purchased my own UPF shirt.

Last year I started a monthly blog series called
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!
Past post can be found:
herehereherehereherehereherehereherehere and here!
And make sure to check back every last Tuesday of the month!

Now onto what I'm lovin' this month...

Being a natural redhead, I also have quite fair skin.
I've been very careful about applying sunscreen my entire life,
but sadly I've still had a few skin cancer scares!

Over the July 4th holiday, I went on a long hike with very little shade.
Before going on that hike though, I hit up Adventure 16
and left the store with a Patagonia UPF long sleeve shirt.

Yes, long sleeves in the heat of Summer sounded terrible,
but it's made from super lightweight material
and I wanted all the protection I could get!

I wore the shirt the very next day on an 8 mile hike,
and not only did I not get sunburned at all,
but the shirt actually seemed to cool me down too!!!

If you get sunburned easily too,
I HIGHLY recommend this shirt!
I love it so much I'd totally buy a second one.

Things I'm Lovin' Tuesday: Desert Nova The Hip Bag

This is a non-sponsored review and all opinions are 100% my own.

A few months ago I started another monthly blog series called
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!
Past post can be found:
hereherehereherehereherehereherehere AND here.
And make sure to check back every last Tuesday of the month!

Now onto what I'm lovin' this month...

One of my dear friends recently came out with a great bag!
When she first told me about it I was a little skeptical about the idea,
but after seeing it in person and feeling the quality,
I knew it was something great and I wanted one ASAP!

To start off - these bags are really cute!!!
The details are high quality and simply amazing.

While I'm not a music festival goer like my friend,
I knew I could make use of it in many different situations myself.
There are many times it's easier to not carry a bag and have a free hand.
And it's even better if you still look really cute!

I could have used it last year at Tacolandia!
I could use it while horseback riding even!!
How would YOU wear your bag???

Things I'm Lovin' Tuesday: Noosa Yogurt

This is a non-sponsored review and I purchased my own yogurt.

A few months ago I started another monthly blog series called
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!
Past post can be found:
herehereherehereherehere, here, here AND here.
And make sure to check back every last Tuesday of the month!

Now onto what I'm lovin' this month...

It's no secret that I love to eat.
And when I find something I like,
I tend to keep eating it for awhile.
Sometimes I get burnt out on it,
but not with this particular item!

Sometime towards the end of 2015,
I spotted noosa yogurt while grocery shopping.
I was intrigued so I bought one to try.
They had quite a few flavors available,
but I am a big lemon fan so I went with that kind.

After just the first bite I was hooked!
It was so creamy and delicious.
And the consistency was so unique,
unlike any other yogurt I've ever tried.
I quickly decided I'd buy noosa yogurt again!

I'm not quite sure what makes it's "Aussie Style",
and I even asked a friend who lives in Sydney,
but neither of us can figure it out.
Whatever it is, it makes this yogurt AMAZING!
And just typing this post makes me want to eat one.

I've tried lemon, coconut and passion fruit,
but they have many other flavors that sound tasty too.
Have you tried noosa yogurt yet?
If not you really should give it a try!
I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Things I'm Lovin' Tuesday: Suave Coconut Milk Infusion

This is an Influenster sponsored review.
I was given the Suave Coconut Milk Infusion free to try, but every opinion is 100% my own!

Last Summer I started another monthly blog series called
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!
If you missed the first few, you can find them:
herehereherehereherehere and here;
and make sure to check back every last Tuesday of the month!

Now onto what I'm lovin' this month...

In this post, I briefly shared my thoughts and reviewed
Suave Professionals Coconut Oil Shampoo and Conditioner.
And I was such a fan of it after the first use,
that I decided to share my love for it with you guys!!!

I'll be honest and was a little hesitant at first.
I was thrilled by the coconut milk,
but I'm a little bit of a hair product snob,
and wasn't expecting much from Suave.

Well let me just say - lesson learned!
I am no longer anti-Suave
and it has a lot to do with these products.
They made me a believer in inexpensive hair care!!!

I love the way the shampoo lathers,
I love the way my hair looks after it's air dried,
I love that if/when I re-buy it I won't be breaking the bank,
But most of all - I really really really like the scent!!!

The coconut milk gives the shampoo and conditioner an amazing smell.
It's not too strong or overpowering, but surprisingly it sticks around for hours!
I typically wash my hair at night and when I woke up the next morning after using these,
I WAS STILL SMELLING THE COCONUT!

If you're looking for a new shampoo and conditioner to try,
I highly recommend you give these two a try.
I can't speak on their long-term use because I've only used them a few times,
but so far I've really loved what they've done to my hair!

Things I'm Lovin' Tuesday: Converse Shoreline Sneakers

This is a non-sponsored review and I purchased or received as a gift my own shoes.

A few months ago I started another monthly blog series called
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!
If you missed the first few, you can find them:
hereherehereherehere, here and here;
and make sure to check back every last Tuesday of the month!

Now onto what I'm lovin' this month...

I've been a fan of Converse Chuck Taylors for many years.
Always the low top verson for me peronally.
I've had many colors over time too -
black, red, gray and now white.

But not just the regural low top white.
Nope, I decide to swith it up a lil.
Last Fall I was doing a lil shopping and ordered

And man, oh man, oh man...

I LOVED these shoes from first time I tried them on.
They were like the regural Chuck Taylors
ONLY BETTER!!!!
They slip on and are a lil more feminine.

Now if you doubt  my love for these shoes,
here's are a few photos of me wearing them!!!

They are super cute with jeans - cuffed and uncuffed,
but I can't wait to wear them with shorts this Spring and Summer!
And for those of you wondering if I wear them without socks,
no I do not - I wear super tiny almost non-exsistant nude socks.

Things I'm Lovin' Tuesday: Spotify!

This is a non-sponsored review and I purchased my own Spofity Subscription.

A few months ago I started another monthly blog series called
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!
If you missed the first few, you can find them hereherehere and here!
and make sure to check back every last Tuesday of the month!

Now onto what I'm lovin' this month...

I've known about Spotify for years now,
but didn't really start using it until recently.
And after using it for a few months,
I'm hooked! Yes, HOOKED!

I created a free Spotify account over the Summer
and started using it mostly while working out.
I was already using my iPod or other music services,
but I quickly found out I really liked Spotify.

Not long after signing up, I was pretty much only using Spotify,
I now had the ability to skip a ton of songs and no more ads between a few songs.
I knew within the first week that I'd be keeping it past the trial!

So why am I loving Spotify exactly?
As mentioned above I use it when working out,
and it's totally improved my workouts the last few months.
But I've found I also love to use Spotify while doing long drives,
and have started listening to it while working as well!

If you haven't tried Spotify yet, you really should!
Don't delay like I did.
I really wish I'd given it a try sooner!

Things I'm Lovin' Tuesday: Rosebud Salve Tube!

A few months ago I started another monthly blog series called
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!
If you missed the first few, you can find them herehere and here
and make sure to check back every last Tuesday of the month!

Now onto what I'm lovin' this month...

I was introduced to Rosebud Salve years ago.
I think I was in middle school the first time I used it,
and I really liked it right away - but didn't LOVE it.

I've never been a big fan of lip gloss or chapstick in a tub.
Something about applying it with my finger just grosses me out.
And I quickly decided to stick with another old favorite instead.

That is until recently...

While shopping at Sephora, I had to do a double take.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it,
but I found Rosebud Salve in a tube!!!

I've used the Rosebud Salve in a tube pretty much every day since.
I really love how soft it makes my lips feel,
but I think my favorite part is the subtle smell of roses!

If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend you do so!
It doesn't leave the sticky feeling on your lips
and for 6 bucks I think it's a steal!!!

Things I'm Lovin' Tuesday: Shark Rotator Vacuum

A few months ago I started another monthly blog series called
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!
If you missed the first two, you can fine them here and here,
and make sure to check back every last Tuesday of the month!

Now onto what I'm lovin' this month...

I know this is a little strange...but I really enjoy cleaning.
And having good cleaning products or tools makes it even better.
A few months ago I was in the market for a new vacuum,
and my aunt suggested the Shark Rotator 3 in 1 Lift-Away Vacuum.

I trust my aunt's opinion for many things in life,
so less than a week later, I purchased the vacuum she suggested.
Not only was it on sale at Bed Bath and Beyond,
but I also used a 20% off coupon to make it even cheaper!

The vacuum was super easy to put together
and I was able to start cleaning in no time at all!
It was much quieter than my previous vacuum,
and it also seemed to pick up SO much more!

Not only does it work great on both carpets and hard surfaces,
but it's super simple to switch from one way of vacuuming to another.
And on top of all that awesomeness - it's SO easy to clean too!
Oh and I can't forget that it's very light weight as well.

Would I purchase this vacuum again?
You bet I would, but I'm hoping I don't have to for awhile.
If you're in the market for a new vacuum,
I absolutely recommend the Shark Rotator 3 in 1 Lift-Away Vacuum.

Things I'm Lovin' Tuesday: Coconut Milk!

Last month I started another monthly blog series called
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!
If you missed the first post, you can fine it here,
and make sure to check back every last Tuesday of the month!

Now onto what I'm lovin' this month...

I'm a BIG fan of coconut and pretty much like anything with it,
but for some reason had never thought to try coconut milk.
That is until a few months ago when a coworker suggested it.
And after trying it in my iced coffee I was hooked!!!

I'm sure there are other brands, but I'm loving the Silk brand.

And since I am used to just skim milk in my coffee,
I went with the unsweetened version.

I tend to fill my glass about half full with coconut milk...

Then fill it the rest of the way with coffee and mix it together.

And if the weather is nice enough, I get to enjoy it outside on the balcony!

I have yet to try the coconut milk alone,
or with anything besides coffee in fact,
but I'm really excited to explore the possibilities!

What's YOUR favorite way to use coconut milk???

Things I'm Lovin' Tuesday: Rosalynne Love Handlettering

A few weekends ago I was blog brainstorming,
and I came up with an idea for a NEW series for this blog.
I love sharing foods I make, DIY projects I do and my garden updates,
but I thought it'd be fun to add a monthly post about what I'm currently loving.

So starting today,
and happening every last Tuesday of the month,
I will posting a new blog as part of
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!

It may be a new food I can't get enough of,
it may be a new cleaning product that is amazing,
it may be a new fun beauty trend I just have to share,
or it may be something completely random and out of the blue!

Since today is the very first post for the series,
I thought I'd go with something completely random,
and share a great Etsy shop with you guys,
owned by someone I've known almost her WHOLE LIFE!

I've known about Rosalynne Love for awhile,
but it wasn't until recently that I made my first purchase.
And man, I wish I hadn't waited so long to place an order!
These designs are so darling and Rosalynne is such a doll.

Like I mentioned above, I've known Rosalynne for years!
She was just a little baby when I met her, but I too was a lot younger.
Not only was her dad the pastor of the church I grew up in,
but I spent years "babysitting" her and her two siblings.

I sadly haven't seen her in quite a few years,
but am so proud of the lady she's become
and what she's doing with her life today.
And that's one of the reasons I had to share her shop today!

Take a look below at the fun things I recently got from Rosalynne Love.

Aren't these just so cute???

I knew I wanted this design immediately.

And of course this one because it's my favorite bible verse!

And how could I forget this one?

Not only are her designs really cute,
but the quality of the shirts are great too!
The writing on the sparkle one above even sparkles!
I mean really - how cool is that???

Now head on over to Rosalynne Love
and order yourself some of her cute shirts!
Oh and maybe throw in a tote bag
or even a moleskin notebook while you're at it!

Don't forget to check back the last Tuesday in August,
and every month for that matter,
so you can read all about that month's
THINGS I'M LOVIN' TUESDAY!!!
